Things have been pretty slow on the poker front of late. Been mixing up my game selection between live 10 handed cash games and online tournies with a little bit of six max thrown in for good measure.
Down about £1000 in live cash games over the last month which is quite painful to actually write. Lost a £600 pot at the empire on sunday night with 64 V AA against some American twat on a board of 9 6 4 all in on the flop, turn 3 river 3 OUCH! Lost another £300 at the gutshot last night with a very sick run of cards, played about 5 big-ish hands and lost everyone. Looked back at the hands on the way home and am pretty sure that all the hands were played correctly, just a sick run of cards i guess.
If anything online has been more frustrating than live. Been going quite deep in a number of tournies but just can't make the big money. Lost a couple of big coin flips at the wrong times and taken some ugly beats which have cost me some serious $. As far as my game goes think that i have been a little bit tilty at times and maybe been pushing a little to hard at the wrong times. Also starting to think a few of the regular players on party have started to work out my game a little bit so it could be time to make a few minor adjustments to my game.
So poker has been a bit shit and think i'm gonna give the cash games a bit of a break and try and concentrate on my tournament play for a while. Got quite a bit of time off work coming up so decided to make a poker schedule and keep track of my play/results with the aim of blogging the damage when i'm through.
Poker schedule feb 2008: wed 13th - live- £75+5 Fo at the gutshot 8pm.
online- 5 $55 turbo stt's. $109 FO 12am?

thurs 14th - online - 8pm $162 Fo. 10.30pm $33 RB.
12am $109 FO. 5 $55 stt's.

fri 15th - online - 5 $55 turbo stt's. work.

sat 16th - work.

sun 17th - work.

mon 18th - work.

tue 19th - $33 RB 3.30pm. $162 FO 8pm.

wed 20th - online - 5 $55 turbo stt's.
live - cheeky 10/20p cash game?

thurs 21st - live - RSOP event 1 £20 PLO. followed by piss up.

fri 22nd - hangover? piss up? silly gambling?

sat 23rd - live - RSOP main event £50 FO day 1.

sun 24th - live - RSOP main event day 2? (£500 for cash games
and silly side bets).

mon 25th - live - £100 FO at the gutshoy 8pm.
online- $109 FO 12am?

tue 26th - online - $33 RB 3.30pm. $162 FO 8pm. $109 FO 12am

So thats the plan for the next few weeks and as you can see its pretty much all poker. Will record all my results and plan to blog at the end of feb. I'm sure i will either win money or learn a lot, i hope to god its the former.
